Join the Junior Chef Cookery Club at The Kitchen Cookery School, Chewton Glen for a fun, hands-on culinary session designed for children aged 8 to 17. Budding junior chefs will learn practical kitchen skills, watch demonstrations at the Chef Tutor's station and then prepare a full meal from scratch using provided equipment and utensils.
Each participant takes home their cooked dishes and a recipe pack. Specific themed sessions are available: 17 February 2026 (Chinese New Year and Pancake Day) featuring Chicken Chow Mein and Pancakes with Chocolate Sauce, and 18 February 2026 featuring Beef Stroganoff with Egg Noodles and Chocolate Chip Muffins.
Dishes and menus may be adjusted and are subject to change; classes aim to inspire confidence, creativity and a love of cooking. Parents/guardians are not required to stay but must complete a sign-in form at the start of the session.

Location
- Must be aged between 8 and 17; children under the age of 8 cannot be accepted due to Health and Safety.
- Children must be able to reach and work at the workstations without use of a stool or other object; all workstations are 900mm high.
- A Parent/Guardian sign-in form must be completed at the start of the session; parents/guardians are not required to stay for the duration of the class.
- Chewton Glen reserves the right to refuse entry or turn away children who do not meet the minimum age requirement on the day; refunds will not be issued.
- Dietary requirements can be accommodated in most cases; inform the reservation team before booking or when making a web booking.
£85
