This is a Kia Combined Service and Parts Advisor apprenticeship based at Ashford Orbital Ltd. The role is hands-on and customer-facing: you'll manage customer contact, take bookings, schedule services and repairs, communicate vehicle faults to technicians, handle complaints, take orders in person and by phone, maintain parts stock, raise invoices and support warranty claims and accessory advice.

The apprenticeship is delivered primarily on the job, learning through practical experience within the dealership.

Training is delivered through block release with the training provider SKILLNET LIMITED, working towards a Level 3 Customer Service Specialist Apprenticeship Standard (including Functional Skills if required). Apprentices will complete eight blocks of learning covering professional development, delivering customer-focused service, teamwork, communication, complaint handling, inventory management, and payment processing.

Block training includes attendance at the Kia Academy in Derby; hotel accommodation for Derby stays is provided and funded by the employer.

Practical details: the apprenticeship starts on 1 December 2025, runs for 1 year 6 months, and is full-time (40 hours/week, Monday-Friday with occasional weekend work as required). The advertised first-year wage is £15,704.
