Join an online conversation with the UK Space Agency’s Co-Directors on space strategy, government investment and national security. Explore how the agency’s changing role could shape UK space ambitions, then put your questions directly to the speakers in an audience Q&A.

The Freeman Air and Space Institute at King’s College London is hosting an online conversation with the UK Space Agency’s Co-Directors, Dr Alice Bunn OBE and Rebecca Evernden CBE. The discussion is chaired by Dr Julia Balm and brings together senior voices working at the intersection of space policy, strategy and government.

The webinar will explore the ambitions set out in the UK Space Strategy, including government investment plans through to 2030 and the growing emphasis on a “One Government” approach to national security, economic growth and technological leadership. It will also look at the UK Space Agency’s evolving role following its integration into the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade.

Alongside the policy discussion, the event will consider what these developments mean for the UK’s wider space ambitions and the opportunities they create for UK space power. The panel will be followed by an audience Q&A, giving attendees the chance to hear directly from the speakers and put questions to them.
