Join The Kirkwood’s retail volunteering team and support one of its charity shops across multiple locations in Kirklees. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to help a local charity make a difference through its shops.
Volunteers may be involved in serving customers, arranging merchandise, processing sales, keeping stock levels topped up, maintaining a tidy and organised sales floor, preventing theft, and helping customers carry donations to their vehicles. Depending on the shop, you may also help with cleaning and moving furniture in line with health and safety requirements.
The role offers a practical way to gain insight into charity retail and to build useful skills.
