Wings of Hope is an online bird photography contest and fundraiser presented by Knowing Hope Inc. It invites photographers to submit their strongest bird images in a celebration of bird photography, creativity, and conservation-minded storytelling.
The contest is open to photographers aged 16 and older, and it is designed for both emerging and experienced photographers through separate novice and advanced divisions. Entrants can submit photographs across four categories: Birds in Flight, Perched & Portrait, Behavior & Interaction, and Juvenile & Nesting.
Each image must be assigned to a category, and photographers may submit multiple images in the same category. Up to 10 entries are allowed per photographer, with each entry containing 1 to 4 photographs.
The contest is judged by three photographers and bird experts, and winning images receive a selection of photographic prizes. Selected work will also be shown in an exhibition, while entry fees support medical care for vulnerable children through Knowing Hope Inc.
Participants keep copyright to their images but grant the organiser permission to use submitted work for promotional and fundraising purposes with photographer credit.

- Open to photographers age 16 and older.
- The novice division is for entrants who have not sold prints, won photography awards, or worked professionally as a photographer.
- The advanced division is for photographers with professional experience, or those who have placed in other photography contests or sold their work.
- AI-generated images are not permitted.
- All photographs must be the entrant’s original work.
- Up to 10 entries per photographer.
- Each entry may include 1-4 photographs.
$15
Entry fees start at $15 for 1 photo, $30 for 2 photos, $40 for 3 photos, and $50 for 4 photos. Participants may submit up to 10 entries, with each entry containing 1-4 photographs.
