Laboratory Scientist Apprenticeship Programme

AstraZeneca's Laboratory Scientist Apprenticeship is a 3-4 year programme combining hands-on laboratory experience with structured training and a recognised qualification. Apprentices work within R&D teams on real projects, learning laboratory techniques, experimental design, data analysis and scientific research processes under the guidance of line managers, mentors and a buddy (often a former apprentice).

The programme offers a competitive salary, on-the-job development, and the opportunity to progress into full-time roles across the business. Roles are available at AstraZeneca’s Cambridge site and Macclesfield Campus.
