Join LAMBDA (Liverpool Advanced Methods for Big Data Analytics) for a full-day, in-person workshop exploring how the growing use of artificial intelligence is shaping inequality across the UK. The event brings together academics, policymakers and industry experts to examine impacts on skills, jobs, wages, regional disparities and access to digital infrastructure.
The programme includes keynote presentations, research summaries, and a concluding roundtable discussion. Participants will hear from distinguished speakers including Professor Alan Manning (LSE), Professor Tommaso Valletti (Imperial College), Flavio Calvino (OECD), Professor Simeon Yates, Dr Balázs Muraközy, and Rob Benson (Digital Inclusion Lead).
Sessions will bridge academic evidence and policy debate, highlight empirical findings, and identify practical implications for UK policy and decision-making.
