Lancashire Youth Brass Band is one of Lancashire Music Service’s county ensembles, offering young musicians across Lancashire the chance to take part in a high-level brass band environment. It is designed for intermediate and advanced players, and new members are welcome if they are at around Grade 3 standard or above.
The band meets regularly for Saturday rehearsals and also takes part in concerts, festivals and other performance opportunities across the year. Members can expect a mix of ensemble playing, sectional work and preparation for public performances, with a strong focus on musical development, teamwork and performance experience.
This is a county-wide opportunity for young brass players who want to develop their skills and perform as part of a larger ensemble. Interested musicians can register via the sign-up link on the page and are encouraged to visit a rehearsal to find out more.
