Lancaster University
Apply NowCurious what studying at Lancaster feels like? Join an offer-holder day to explore departments, attend taster lectures, meet academics and current students, tour facilities and build confidence—helping you decide your course and boost your uni application.
Offer holder events at Lancaster University are on-campus days for students who have received an offer or been invited to interview for an undergraduate course. Attendees join departmental sessions designed to show what studying their chosen subject at Lancaster would be like, including departmental welcome talks, taster lectures, practical demonstrations, student panels and tours of facilities.
The day also gives you time to explore campus facilities: visit the Student Experience Hub (marketplace-style stalls covering societies, sports, careers and the library), take a student-led campus tour, and view student accommodation with the accommodation team on hand to answer questions. A free lunch is provided for attendees.
If Lancaster makes you an offer you will be emailed a unique booking link to reserve your place; the link will allow booking only for events where your admitting subject is available. Help with travel costs is available via a travel bursary (claims of £10-£50 depending on distance).
If you cannot attend in person there are alternatives including mid-week campus tours (available from April 2026), digital events (webinars and livestreams), and personalised visits.
Free to attend; attendees receive a free lunch. Travel bursary available to claim between £10-£50 depending on distance travelled.
