LALAprendiz in Camps is a leadership learning journey offered by the Latin American Leadership Academy that culminates in a camp experience delivered either virtually or in-person. The program combines a structured training period (27 April to 19 June 2026), hands-on camp practice, reflection spaces, and feedback cycles to develop operational, relational, emotional, and cognitive skills for young leaders.
Camp sessions in multiple languages (Portuguese, English, Spanish) take place across several weeks in late June and July 2026. The selection process is targeted at existing LALíderes. Specific open roles and minimum ages are listed: Virtual Camp Coach and Trainee Manager (minimum age 16) and In-Person Camp Coach and Trainee Facilitator (minimum age 18).
Role-specific experience is required (e. g. , having completed a LALA Camp as a camper, prior coaching/staff experience across camps).
Final selection decisions will be communicated by April 7, 2026, and selected candidates will have three days to confirm participation. Participants are expected to follow the staff attendance policy during the journey.
Successful participants receive a financial educational scholarship on completion; logistical requirements include a stable internet connection and access to a computer with camera and audio. Applicants are advised to read the role-specific application guidelines linked on the program page.
