This is an in-person taster session for Year 11 students interested in exploring pathways into law, policing, forensic science and psychology. The evening includes a practical workshop where students will be introduced to psychological theories, methods criminologists use to examine evidence and patterns, and how legal systems operate in real life.
The session is hands-on and aimed at giving a short, realistic taste of study and careers in these fields. The event takes place at Walsall College on Wednesday 25 March 2026 from 17:00 to 19:00 (5pm-7pm).
Activities will include problem-solving exercises, discussion and debate, and demonstrations of practical techniques used in criminology and forensic investigation. The session is limited to 15 participants, so students are encouraged to register early via the Eventbrite event page to secure a place.
