Deadline in 19 days

The Law Insight Day is a one-day collaborative event between the Oxford Faculty of Law and Blackstone Chambers on 14 February 2026 designed to introduce prospective students to legal study and careers, with a particular focus on the barrister route. The programme combines academic insight, practical experience, and opportunities to network with Oxford students and practising barristers.

This event is specifically for Year 12 students from underrepresented backgrounds, especially those from geographical regions with lower application rates to the University of Oxford. Attendance is limited to 50 students.

Lunch and an early dinner are provided and travel bursaries are available for eligible applicants; attendees are responsible for booking travel, and bursary application details will be sent after application.

Applications are open. The deadline for applications is midnight on 18 January 2026; successful applicants will be notified by email shortly after the deadline. The event will be held in person at the Faculty of Law, St Cross Building, St Cross Road, Oxford (OX1 3UL) from 10:00 to 18:00.
