The Law Society of Ireland's free Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) "Social Media, AI and the Law" explores the intersection of social media, artificial intelligence and legal frameworks. The course covers liability, regulation, privacy and data protection, social media bans, cybercrime, e-commerce and the broader impact of digital manipulation and surveillance on society and work.
This on-demand course starts on 9 June 2026 and runs for five weeks with new course content released every Tuesday. It features recorded and streamed presentations, interactive discussion forums and quizzes, and is delivered by expert speakers including lawyers, academics and public figures.
