Immerse Education Law Summer School Oxford

Immerse Education’s Law Summer School in Oxford is a two-week, university-style programme for ambitious students who want to explore law in a historic academic setting. It is offered in two age tracks, for ages 13-15 and 16-18, so the teaching can be matched to each stage of development.

Students study in Oxford and live in Oxford University college accommodation, gaining a residential experience that mirrors life at university.

The programme blends academic study with practical legal activities. Participants work through an introduction to law, criminal law, civil law, contracts, property and business, and advocacy and evidence.

Students can argue a case in a mock trial, draft a short contract, and practise legal reasoning through moots, debate and case analysis. Small class sizes help ensure close tutor support and active discussion.

Alongside the academic content, the course gives students a taste of Oxford’s collegiate atmosphere, with formal dining, guest speakers and a graduation celebration. Learners who want an extra challenge can opt in for UCAS points, with availability for students aged 14 and above.

The course is designed for young people who are curious about law and want to build confidence, communication skills and critical thinking in a supportive environment.
