Help deliver events across Leicester’s museums and heritage sites, bringing visitors into contact with the city’s arts, heritage and culture. Join a supervised team at history talks, concerts, theatre, craft fairs and seasonal activities.
Leicester City Council is looking for volunteers to support a range of events at its museums and heritage sites. The opportunity is centred on helping the Customer Service team deliver events that bring visitors into contact with Leicester’s arts, heritage and culture.
Volunteers may be placed across several sites, including Leicester Museum & Art Gallery, Newarke Houses Museum, Leicester Guildhall, Abbey Pumping Station, King Richard III Visitor Centre and Jewry Wall Museum. The events programme includes history talks, concerts, shows, theatre, craft fairs and food fairs, alongside exhibitions and seasonal activities.
Volunteers work as part of a team and are supervised while they carry out their tasks. Opportunities are available throughout the week, both during the day and in the evening, and volunteers can choose events that match their interests and availability.
No fee stated.
