Let's Get Down to Business

Let's Get Down to Business is an interactive one-day insight event run by Derby International Business School for Year 12 and Year 13 students.

Attendees take part in engaging sessions led by academics and current students to learn what it is like to study at an internationally recognised business institution. The day includes a live industry brief from partners such as Rolls-Royce and the NHS, where student groups work together to develop solutions and pitch to a panel of business leaders and researchers.

The event is delivered in-person at the Cavendish Building on the Derby Campus and is designed to build teamwork, creative thinking and practical application of learning while giving students direct exposure to university teaching and industry links.
