Level 2 Birmingham City FC Foundation Football Coaching Programme 026 - South and City College Birmingham

Built in partnership with Birmingham City FC Foundation, this one-year Level 2 programme combines practical coaching, match play and classroom learning to prepare learners for further study or employment in the football and sports industry. You will gain an NCFE Level 2 Diploma in Sport (Sports Coaching) while taking part in fixtures, individual training plans and strength & conditioning support.

Learning includes practical coaching and performance sessions, classroom lessons, workshops, performance analysis and twice-weekly training with Birmingham City FC Foundation coaches. Assessment is by a portfolio of evidence including practical tasks, written assignments, presentations and performance observations.

Real work experience with Birmingham City FC Foundation is included to support employability. On successful completion you can progress to Level 3 diplomas in sport, gym instructing and personal training, and may have opportunities to play for Birmingham City teams or access training at the club's training ground.
