Plymouth City Council is recruiting a Level 3 Business Support Apprentice to join the Community Connections team based at Ballard House, Plymouth. The apprentice will undertake process-driven administrative and customer-focused tasks, develop strong communication and IT skills (such as MS Office), maintain records, draft correspondence, and support day-to-day office functions.
You will work on projects, organise meetings and events, and be a point of contact across the organisation.
The role is a paid apprenticeship offering £21,600 per year (with a higher rate for age 21+), 37 hours per week and hybrid working arrangements. The apprenticeship includes off-the-job training supported by the local training provider and leads to a Business Administrator (level 3) qualification.
The apprenticeship starts on 5 January 2026 and runs for approximately 1 year 3 months.
