This Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship places you in a nursery role working directly with children aged from 0 to 5. You will gain on-the-job experience supporting child development, planning and delivering activities, assisting with Ofsted requirements, and following safeguarding procedures.
The role is full-time (30 hours a week, Monday-Friday, shifts TBC) based at 59 Balham Grove, London SW12 8BD.
You will study with training provider SWIFT ACI toward an Early Years Educator (Level 3) qualification / Advanced Diploma in Early Years over a 13-month apprenticeship. Training includes classroom and online learning with an assessor and workplace mentoring; you must evidence a First Aid qualification approved by EYFS during your apprenticeship.
The apprenticeship includes a mix of practical duties, assessment of observation evidence, and professional development activities.
Wage for the first year is listed at £11,778 (may increase depending on age) and the role lists employer benefits such as meals provided, pension, bonuses, and 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays. The apprenticeship aims to develop you into a Level 3 practitioner with potential progression to room leader roles, management training, or further routes into primary education or paediatric nursing.
