Level 3 Civil Engineering Technician Apprenticeship

This Level 3 Civil Engineering Technician Apprenticeship with South Bank Colleges combines practical, on-the-job experience with vocational training. Apprentices will support engineers and construction professionals across the built environment, learning to design technical solutions, analyse problems, deliver projects on time and to budget, and ensure safe, high-quality site operations.

You will gain industry-specific techniques, core technical engineering principles, and transferable skills such as teamwork, quality control and time management. Assessment includes multiple-choice and written exams, portfolio work, practical assessments, and a Presentation and Structured Interview that satisfies the requirements for registration as an Engineering Technician.

Training is delivered at London South Bank Technical College - Nine Elms and includes opportunities to progress into site management roles or further study, such as a Level 6 apprenticeship at LSBU.
