Level 3 Dental Nursing Apprenticeship - Johnson & Whitehouse

Join Johnson & Whitehouse Dental Surgery in Chester as a Level 3 Dental Nurse Apprentice. The role is a permanent "learn while you earn" position based at the practice (80 Western Avenue, Chester, CH1 5PP) starting 3 December 2025.

Hours are Monday to Friday between 9:00 and 18:00, 40 hours per week. Salary is advertised between £15,704 and £25,396. 80 depending on age and National Minimum Wage.

Most training is on-the-job at the dental practice with off-the-job study provided by the training provider (Aspiration Training). You will learn chairside support, infection control, radiography, clinical record keeping, patient communication, and other professional skills.

Study is delivered online with regular teaching and 1-to-1 sessions and includes the Level 3 Dental Nurse apprenticeship standard content. On successful completion you will gain the qualification required to register with the GDC.

Essential entry requirements include GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade 4, completion of Hepatitis B vaccinations, and a clear enhanced DBS. Applicants should be able to travel to the practice and be comfortable working in a clinical environment.
