This is a Level 3 Health & Social Care apprenticeship with Lotus Home Care offering hands-on, paid work supporting clients in their own homes across multiple locations in Yorkshire. Apprentices will deliver person-centred care, contribute to and review care plans, assist with medication where authorised, liaise with families and healthcare professionals, and support individuals with complex needs such as dementia or learning disabilities.

You will study with RNN Group for the Lead Adult Care Worker (Level 3) standard, combining on-the-job learning with off-the-job training, workshops and assessments. The role is rota-based (including weekends) at 37 hours 30 minutes per week, with paid travel between visits and mileage reimbursement.

The apprenticeship prepares you for senior roles such as Lead Care Worker or Supervisor.

The apprenticeship starts on 2 January 2026, lasts 1 year 6 months, and has 5 positions available. Desirable qualifications include GCSEs in Maths and English (A*-C / 9-4). Successful applicants will require a full DBS check and must be 18 or over due to insurance restrictions.

  • Driving licence is not essential but would be advantageous.

£14,723 per year

Pay & Benefits

£14,722.50 to £23,809.50, depending on your age. National Minimum Wage. Paid travel between visits; mileage reimbursed.
