Henry Tyndale School (a special school for pupils aged 2-19 with complex learning needs) is recruiting for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship (SEND) employed by Inspire ATA and hosted at Henry Tyndale School. You will be employed by Inspire ATA and placed at the host school, undertaking day-to-day learning support tasks and receiving off-the-job training from the named training provider.
On the job you will support pupils across communication, independence, emotional regulation and physical development; deliver pre-planned activities 1:1, in small groups or whole-class under teacher guidance; use specialist strategies and resources (for example visual supports, AAC and sensory tools); assist with EHCP-linked provision and record progress; and provide personal care, mobility or medical support where necessary.
The role includes regular professional development and contribution to the wider school team.
Training is provided by LET ME PLAY LIMITED to achieve the Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship standard (including Functional Skills in English and maths if required). The apprenticeship is scheduled to start 1 December 2025, runs for 1 year 6 months, and may lead to potential full-time employment on successful completion.

£11,778 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age. National Minimum Wage rate for apprentices.
