Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship - Oasis Academy Aspinal

Oasis Academy Aspinal is recruiting two Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprentices to join its primary school team in Gorton, Manchester. Apprentices will gain hands-on classroom experience while studying towards a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

The role is term-time only, Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00 (35 hours per week), with a stated start date of 1 January 2026 and a duration of 1 year 4 months.

On the job you will support teachers and pupils (including those with special educational needs and disabilities), assist with planning and delivering learning activities, promote inclusion and pupil wellbeing, and carry out formative assessment and record-keeping. Training is provided by Let Me Play Limited and covers child development, SEND support, safeguarding (KCSIE), behaviour management, curriculum support, ICT in schools and preparation for the end point assessment.

Essential qualifications include GCSEs in English and Maths (grade 4). Successful applicants will complete the academy's safer recruitment process, including an application form, references and DBS checks.

The apprenticeship pays £8. 58 per hour. Applications are submitted via GOV.
