The Warwick Classics Network A. G. Leventis Ancient Worlds Study Day 2026 is a one-day event taking place on Friday 26th June 2026 at the University of Warwick.
The day runs from 11:00 to 16:00 and is free to attend; lunch and on-site parking are provided at no cost. Booking is available via the University of Warwick booking page. The programme features two plenary lectures (11:00-12:00 and 15:00-16:00) and two sets of parallel sessions during the day, covering topics such as Aristophanes and tragedy, myth on mosaics, Greek religion, Roman social history, art and identity in Asia Minor, and others.
Talks are designed to be of interest to GCSE and A-level pupils and their teachers, and to give a taste of how classics is taught at Warwick; attendees are free to choose which sessions to attend.
