Librarian Assistant Apprentice - Oasis Silvertown

This is a paid Level 3 Librarian, Information & Archive Services Assistant apprenticeship based at Oasis Silvertown. Most of the apprenticeship is on-the-job: you will work at the library enquiry desk, support users with information queries and basic IT tasks, maintain library records and catalogue materials, prepare displays and information packs, assist with outreach, and take part in team meetings and reviews.

The programme includes formal training delivered by LMP Group/LET ME PLAY LIMITED and is primarily online/remote learning with an allocated tutor. You will work towards the Level 3 qualification across a total duration of 20 months and must attend the learning sessions provided by the training provider as part of the apprenticeship requirements.

The role is term-time, Monday-Friday (37 hours per week). The apprenticeship may lead to a permanent position on successful completion. The advertised wage for the first year is £14,526.20 (apprentice/NMW rules apply).
