Study chemistry on a university campus, tackling atomic structure, reaction kinetics and how chemistry works in industry. Expert-led lectures pair with afternoon workshops, debates and group activities, plus visits to the chemical process industry and accommodation, meals, a certificate and academic report.
LITE Regal Education’s Chemistry Summer School is a residential academic programme for students aged 15 to 18 who want to deepen their understanding of chemistry in a university-style environment. The course introduces key ideas such as atomic structure, chemical calculations, organic and physical chemistry, bond structure, phase diagrams and reaction kinetics, with a strong emphasis on how chemistry is used in the real world and in industry.
Teaching combines expert-led morning lectures with afternoon workshops, debates, reports and group activities. Students also take part in field visits connected to the chemical process industry, alongside a busy social programme that includes trips, cultural activities and sports.
The course is designed to build confidence, scientific reasoning and communication skills while broadening academic knowledge.
Participants study on university campuses in London, Cambridge or Oxford and receive accommodation, meals, a certificate and an academic report on completion. The programme is aimed at motivated students who enjoy science and want an immersive summer experience that supports future study in chemistry and related fields.
