Practise suturing, basic life support and patient communication on a university-campus residential programme in London, Cambridge or Oxford. Explore anatomy, ethics and clinical reasoning, get guidance on applications and interview preparation, and visit a hospital or medical organisation. Finish with a certificate and academic report.

Lite Regal Education’s Medical School Preparation summer school is a residential academic programme for aspiring doctors. It combines classroom learning, practical workshops and guidance on medical school applications, giving students insight into topics such as anatomy, physiology, medical ethics, case studies, clinical reasoning and interview preparation.

The course is designed for young people who want a strong introduction to medicine and a clearer understanding of what studying and working in the field involves.

The programme is held on university campuses in London, Cambridge and Oxford, with teaching from experienced tutors and medical professionals. Students also take part in hands-on activities such as suturing, basic life support, patient communication and clinical skills practice.

A field visit to a hospital or medical organisation is included, and there is an optional medical shadowing or internship add-on for students who want more real-world exposure.

Alongside the academic content, students benefit from a structured social programme, supervised accommodation, meals and pastoral support. At the end of the course, participants receive a certificate and academic report, helping them build confidence, broaden their knowledge and strengthen future university applications.
