This is a three-year Commercial & Business Banking apprenticeship at Lloyds Banking Group based in London. Apprentices will work across a range of commercial banking roles, building client relationships, analysing performance, supporting financial queries and contributing to areas such as commercial lending, green and sustainable finance, legal and regulatory frameworks, and product innovation.
You will combine on-the-job experience with blended learning and study with Kaplan and the Chartered Banker Institute.
The programme is fully funded and leads to a Level 6 Financial Services Professional apprenticeship plus the CBI Diploma and Professional Banking Certificate. Apprentices receive a salary, formal mentorship, classroom and workplace training, and exposure to diverse teams and projects.
Typical tasks include managing client portfolios, supporting settlements or strategic planning, and data analysis and reporting.
This role is based in Lloyds Banking Group's London office with hybrid working in line with policy. Candidates must meet the listed entry requirements and hold the Right to Work in the UK. The closing date to apply is 11 November 2025.

- Must be at least 18 years old on 1st September 2026.
- GCSEs at grade 4-9 in both Maths and English.
- Three A Levels at grades BCC (predicted grades acceptable; any offer will be conditional on achievement).
- Must currently have a valid Right to Work in the UK with a visa end date extending beyond the three-year apprenticeship (no visa sponsorship available).
- Applicants must consider previous qualifications or significant relevant work experience which may mean they cannot proceed (significant learning need required).
- Apprentices are expected to work from the primary London office throughout the programme and be in the office most days during the initial settling-in period; relocation is strongly recommended if commute exceeds 1.5 hours.
£31,700 per year
£31,700 per year plus benefits including up to 15% pension contribution, annual performance-related bonus, share schemes (including free shares), adaptable lifestyle benefits, 22 days' holiday plus bank holidays, wellbeing initiatives and generous parental leave.
