This three-week Summer Study Abroad programme in Graphic Media Design at the London College of Communication offers an immersive, studio-based experience focused on visual research, typography, layout and fundamental design principles. Participants will take part in hands-on technical workshops including letterpress, screen printing, risograph printing and digital filmmaking, alongside discussions, visits to London museums and galleries, and activities that explore the relationship between print and digital media.
A key element of the course is documenting your process via a blog and presenting your work at a final exhibition. The course is aimed at students seeking undergraduate-level study (students must be over 18).
It is suitable for a range of levels - prior study in design and drawing is recommended and Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator skills are essential. Enrolment results in a Record of Study and a digital badge/certificate which can be used for credit transfer where applicable.

Tuition fee for the course is £2,630. Full fee payment is due within 2 weeks of receiving an offer. UAL offers Summer Study Abroad Awards (tuition-fee waivers) for some students - award covers tuition fee only and, if successful, the tuition will be reimbursed after enrolment.
