London Fine Art Studios - The Art of Oil Painting (10-week online course)

The Art of Oil Painting is a 10-week, online representational oil painting course delivered by London Fine Art Studios via the Workshop platform. The course uses a step-by-step, mentor-led approach to teach core oil painting skills from drawing and massing-in to developing values, colour mixing and working from life.

Each week a new unit unlocks and students follow guided video sessions alongside 1-2 practice sessions, with regular feedback from a dedicated LFAS mentor.

The course is suitable for both beginners and trained painters seeking a systematic progression to independent painting. Typical weekly commitment is around 1-3 hours of guided work plus practice exercises (average 3 hours per week).
