Loughborough University’s self-guided tours let prospective visitors explore the campus at their own pace and get a feel for what the university has to offer. They are designed as a flexible way to familiarise yourself with the grounds and see life at Loughborough without joining a staffed tour or open day session.
Because the visit is self-guided, there will not be anyone available on the day to answer questions. Visitors can still walk around the campus, view the surroundings and make notes about anything they would like to remember for later.
The university suggests bringing comfortable shoes, a notebook or notes app, and planning time to enjoy the visit properly. Visitors are asked to let the university know they are coming so they can receive helpful information to make the most of the trip.
There are shops, cafés and bars on campus, and visitors should be aware that parking is chargeable. Unaccompanied guests are not permitted to enter buildings that are not open to the public.
Attendance is free, but visitors are required to pay for parking on campus.
