Loughborough University’s undergraduate open days give prospective students the chance to explore the campus, discover the university experience, and find out whether it is the right place for them to study. Visitors can tour the campus, see where they would be studying and living, and get a feel for life as a student at Loughborough.
The open day also offers opportunities to speak with current students, meet academic staff, and learn more about course content and how subjects are taught. There is support available from the careers team and the student finance team, so visitors can also ask about employability, placements, internships, bursaries, and funding options.
The event is designed to help students make an informed decision about their next steps into higher education.

- Prospective undergraduate applicants (those considering undergraduate study)
- Teachers bringing a group should email opendays@lboro.ac.uk to arrange a group visit
- Visitors may bring up to 3 additional guests when booking
- If you have a disability or access need, indicate this on the booking form or contact opendays@lboro.ac.uk
- Presentations and tours are generally first-come, first-served; some subject sessions require ticket collection from the departmental stand on the day
Open Days are free to attend. Parking is free for visitors on University Open Days. A free shuttle bus runs between Loughborough train station and campus during Open Days (service stated as free between 07:30 and 18:00). Onsite hotels may offer discounts to Open Day guests; visitors should book directly with hotels.
