Lytham St Annes Classical Association: Dr Jess Venner on ‘Lost Voices of Pompeii’

Lytham St Annes Classical Association is hosting an in-person evening lecture by Dr Jess Venner on ‘Lost Voices of Pompeii’. The talk forms part of the branch’s regular monthly lecture programme and is open to visitors as well as members.

It is a chance to hear from an expert speaker and explore themes connected with classical history and the ancient world in an informal, welcoming setting.

The event takes place at AKS Lytham, with doors opening before the talk for refreshments and an opportunity to meet the lecturer. The lecture is followed by a short question-and-answer session, and meetings normally finish later in the evening.

Visitors can attend on a ticketed basis, while members attend free of charge. The branch also promotes its wider lecture programme for the season and offers online access to recordings for members.
