Mansfield College and the Oxford University English Faculty are running an English Study Day in July 2026 for current Year 12 students at UK state schools who are interested in applying to read English at Oxford. Participants will take part in academic workshops led by faculty and tutors, learn about the Oxford admissions process, and have opportunities to talk with current students and tutors about study and student life.
Students invited to the Study Day will be able to stay overnight in college accommodation and will eat in the college dining hall, experiencing many aspects of undergraduate life. The programme includes academic sessions, admissions guidance and informal opportunities to meet Mansfield student ambassadors.
The English Study Day is free of charge and targeted at Year 12 state-school students intending to apply for Oxford in October 2026. Applicants must complete the online application form; places are limited and selection is based on the stated eligibility.
