This beginner-friendly workshop explores the art of slow fashion through fashion illustration. Participants look at how sketching, sampling and trend cycles can create waste long before a garment is ever made, shifting attention to the design process and the choices that shape overproduction.
Led by facilitator Limma Ali, the session sits within Ahista Stories Live, a South Asian sustainable fashion festival hosted by St. Margaret's House. It brings together creative practice and discussion around mindful making, fair labour and conscious consumption, offering attendees a small-group in-person experience in East London.
