St Mary’s University, London offers an Open Event Travel Bursary to help eligible prospective students with the cost of travelling to undergraduate Open Days and Applicant Days. The bursary is designed to make attending these events more accessible for students who meet the university’s widening participation criteria.

Applicants can receive up to £50, with the payment made after they have successfully attended the Open Event. The bursary is aimed at students who are care experienced or estranged, young carers, those aged 25 and below, forced migrants, and students from Gypsy, Roma, Irish Traveller, Showperson or Boater communities.

Applicants complete a form and should expect a response within around three working days.
