St Mary’s University London Computer Science Masterclass Day

St Mary’s University, London is hosting a Computer Science Masterclass Day for students in the first and second year of sixth form or college. The event is designed to give attendees an insight into computer science through a series of themed sessions led by the university.

The programme includes a cyber security session exploring digital defence, how systems are attacked, and how to protect against cyber-attacks. It also features an artificial intelligence session with a hands-on mini-AI project, helping students understand how AI works and where it is being used in the modern world.

Alongside the academic sessions, students will also have the chance to tour the campus and experience university life at St Mary’s University, Twickenham. The day is intended for students considering computer science or related digital pathways and offers a practical introduction to studying the subject at university level.
