Immerse Education's Mathematics Summer Programme in Tokyo is a two-week, university-level exploration for ambitious students aged 15 6. The course covers advanced topics including calculus, probability, number theory, statistics and logical reasoning through academic seminars, problem-solving workshops and group challenges.
Participants engage in in-depth academic sessions led by tutors with research and teaching experience, and have the opportunity to complete a self-directed personal research project supported by one-to-one tutoring.
The programme combines structured lessons (approximately 40 hours of tuition) with cultural activities and local academic trips in Tokyo. Residential and non-residential package options are offered: residential participants stay in selected student accommodation close to the University of Tokyo and receive daily meals; class sizes are small (7-10 students) to enable personalised feedback.
Students can opt in for UCAS-recognised points (8 points) where eligible, and all participants earn a certificate of achievement on completion.
Two sessions are available in summer 2026, giving students flexibility in planning travel and study. Enrolment is via Immerse Education's website and spaces are limited.
