Ready to roll up your sleeves and grow real-world skills abroad? Join Maximo Nivel’s Eco-Agriculture programme in Costa Rica, Guatemala or Peru - work on organic farms, support reforestation, learn permaculture, boost your CV and global experience.

Maximo Nivel's Eco-Agriculture volunteer program places international volunteers with local farmers and cooperatives in Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Peru to support sustainable and organic farming practices. Volunteers participate in all stages of production-growing, harvesting, processing, and packaging-and may support reforestation and community outreach activities.

Projects include work with coffee, cacao, macadamia, permaculture and related sustainable agriculture initiatives.

Programs are delivered in-person at Maximo Nivel institutes and nearby offsite project locations (e. g. , Antigua, Guatemala; Cusco and the Huyro Region, Peru; San Jose and Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica).

Work typically involves 3-4 hours per day of practical labor Monday through Friday, with field managers providing orientation and periodic check-ins. Accommodation is usually host-family style (shared room) and meals are provided.

Program fees are all-inclusive for many extras, and academic credit is available through the School of Record.
