Mears Group offers work experience for people who want to learn more about the world of work and explore future career options. The experience is intended to build confidence, develop new skills and give applicants an introduction to the kind of work Mears does across its branches and contracts.

Placements may give insight into housing maintenance, repairs, housing services and public sector partnerships. Because opportunities depend on local capacity, branch activity and availability in each area, the exact experience and length of placement can vary by location.

Mears welcomes interest from young people in education aged 14 to 18, and also from adults aged 18 and over who would like to learn more about the business and services.
