Immerse Education's Media & Journalism summer programme in London is a two-week, residential (or non-residential option) course for students aged 15-18. Based in central London (University College London accommodation options including Astor College and John Dodgson House), the programme introduces participants to news reporting, digital storytelling, media ethics and broadcasting through hands-on workshops, industry visits and expert-led masterclasses.
Students take part in project-based learning and 1:1 coaching, complete a personal project, and hear from guest speakers and local media organisations. Class sizes are small (typically 7-10), with around 45 hours of teaching and coaching across the programme.
Residential packages include accommodation, daily meals and organised cultural activities; a certificate of attendance is awarded on completion. The course is designed to give aspiring journalists practical skills, portfolio material and insight into media careers in a global media hub.
