Media Summer School

The Dukes Plus Media Summer School is an immersive on-campus programme at University College London (UCL) for students aged 15-18 interested in marketing, journalism and media production.

Participants spend 1-2 weeks working alongside media professionals: exploring live TV studios, producing podcasts, designing social-media campaigns for real clients, analysing engagement trends and receiving tailored career coaching. The course offers 20+ hours of practical media work each week and professional site visits that place students in real industry environments.

Students can choose one-week or two-week options and have the opportunity to work towards a recognised Level 3 qualification in work experience (UCAS-endorsed, worth 8 UCAS points). Residential options (including accommodation, meals and guardianship) are available; places are limited and booking is via the Dukes Plus online form.
