Prize: Place on the Medic Mentor scholarship programme including mentoring, wellbeing support, additional learning opportunities, opportunities to lead, present and engage in research, and participation in national medical education projects. For eligible pathway participants (Gold/Platinum/Ultimate Platinum) a guaranteed interview.

Medic Mentor's Medsoc UK Scholarship Programme supports medical students who hold offers from UK medical schools. The programme is open to applicants in the UK and internationally, provided they hold at least one UK medical school offer.

Medic Mentor funds over 100 scholarships each year and states it invests over A3200,000 annually to support scholars.

Applications are assessed by shortlisting and interview. Students enrolled on Medic Mentor's Gold or Platinum pathways may apply via an online application; completing Gold awards or enrolling on the Ultimate Platinum Pathway guarantees an interview without prior written shortlisting.

Awards are made on interview performance alone - academic grades and means testing are not taken into account.

The scholarship is an academic and pastoral programme rather than a cash grant. Scholars receive exclusive mentoring, wellbeing and additional learning opportunities, and can take part in leadership, presentation and research projects.

The programme is designed to fit around a medical degree with a minimum requirement of attending three teaching days across the year and two appraisals with a scholarship supervisor.

This is not a financial grant. The scholarship provides an academic and pastoral programme including exclusive mentoring, wellbeing support, additional learning opportunities, leadership and research experience. Medic Mentor states it funds over 100 scholarships yearly and invests over £200,000 annually into scholarship awards.
