Want to boost your A-level or GCSE Chemistry confidence fast? Join Medic Mentor’s widening-access study groups: live daily 1-hour Zoom lessons (18:00-19:00) with extended practice and optional Q&A, recorded for later. Build exam skills, connect with tutors and level up your application.

Medic Mentor offers a widening access tutoring programme providing live, daily virtual study groups primarily focused on A-level Chemistry (OCR A, EDEXCEL and AQA) with planned expansion to Biology, Physics and Mathematics. Sessions are delivered via Zoom and recorded for later access.

Study groups run Monday to Friday with 1-hour teaching sessions from 18:00-19:00 UK GMT followed by a period for practice and an optional group question session on the same link until 21:00. Modules vary in length: Physical and Organic modules each run for 7 weeks (covering Year 12 and 13 / NI Year 13 and 14 content), while the Inorganic module runs for 3 weeks.

The programme aims to cover the full Year 12 and 13 chemistry curriculum within one academic year.

Places (including free access to the study group and question bank) are prioritised for students from disadvantaged backgrounds who meet widening access criteria. Applicants should complete the widening access registration form and upload evidence to be considered; places are offered on a first-come-first-served basis and additional cohorts run throughout the year.

Tutors are medical and dental students supported by doctors and dentists, many with A* grades in Chemistry and experience of medical/dental admissions preparation.
