Closes in 29 days

Medway NHS Foundation Trust’s Medical Professionals Programme is an observational placement for students considering a career in medicine. The programme gives participants the chance to observe consultants and multidisciplinary teams across a range of specialties, including specialist clinical areas at Medway Maritime Hospital.

It is designed to offer a realistic insight into medical practice and the skills, behaviours and commitment needed to become a doctor.

The experience is observational only and students are supervised at all times. Places are limited and applicants are shortlisted, with the Trust looking for strong academic achievement and a clear commitment to medicine.

Successful applicants may be placed in a range of departments depending on business need, and the experience is intended to support future university and UCAS applications as well as broader career planning.
