Curious about studying medicine? Join Sheffield's Medicine subject talk to explore the course, hear from academics and admissions, and ask current students your questions in an optional Q&A — get the inside view to shape your next step.

The Medicine subject talk is part of the University of Sheffield’s open day programme for prospective undergraduate students. It gives visitors a chance to learn more about the Medicine course and to hear directly from the university team about studying the subject at Sheffield.

The session takes place in The Medical School, Lecture Theatre 1. After each talk, there is an optional 30-minute Q&A with the academic and admissions teams, together with current students, so visitors can ask questions about the course and student experience.

This talk is one of the fixed parts of the open day and is chosen when making your open day booking. You can book for yourself and up to one additional guest, and booked visitors are seated first. Several Medicine talk sessions run across the day, giving applicants flexibility when planning their visit.
