A live, five-day online Medicine Summer School for 15-18 year olds - case-based seminars, practical clinical skills and interview preparation taught by senior medical students.

Debate Chamber's Medicine Summer School is a live, online five-day course for students aged 15-18 considering a future in medicine. The programme covers core medical topics - including cardiology, radiology, neurology, haematology, pulmonary systems, psychiatry, oncology, paediatrics and emergency medicine - and emphasises clinical engagement through seminars, case studies and small-group collaboration.

After an introductory lecture students work in seminar groups to take histories, discuss examinations and investigations, and present diagnoses and management plans. The course also integrates medical ethics and interview-related practice.

Sessions are taught by senior medical students selected for strong communication skills and academic experience. This online edition runs in small interactive seminars (sessions are not recorded) and requires students to be available during scheduled hours and to have a reliable audio/video internet connection.

Debate Chamber offers a limited number of full and partial bursaries; see the bursary application form for details. Booking requires a 25% non-refundable deposit with the balance due eight weeks before the course.
