Mercedes-Benz Apprenticeships offer workplace-based earn-and-learn roles across dealership and service functions. Candidates work in operational roles such as Retail Parts Advisor, Customer Experience Specialist and Light Vehicle Technician while completing recognised apprenticeship training.
Apprentices receive a wage determined by the employing retailer and are guaranteed at least the National Minimum Wage.
Entry requirements include being aged 16 or over and having a minimum of GCSE grade 4 (C) in English and Mathematics. Apprentices are employed in dealership locations and are expected to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with at least 20% of working time spent on off-the-job training.
Training blocks are delivered as one-week blocks at the Mercedes-Benz Apprentice Academy in Milton Keynes.
The programmes are designed to lead to industry-relevant skills and career progression within Mercedes-Benz and its retailers, with mentoring from trained technicians and clear progression routes (for example progressing from Level 2 to Level 3 in retail roles). Apprenticeship qualifications (examples listed on page): Level 2 Retailer Apprenticeship progressing to Level 3 Retail Team Leader; Level 3 Customer Service (Customer Experience Specialist); Level 3 Service & Maintenance Light Vehicle Technician.
Remuneration is set by the employing retailer; apprentices must be paid at least the National Minimum Wage. Exact pay varies by employer.
