A live, small-group Sociology masterclass led by Gemma gives you a first-hand taste of interactive A Level teaching. Dig into how society shapes behaviour, identity, culture and institutions, using contemporary examples and guided discussion to challenge assumptions.

Join Minerva Virtual Academy for an interactive A Level Sociology masterclass led by Gemma. This short live lesson offers a taster of how MVA teaches, with a small-group feel and plenty of discussion to bring the subject to life.

The session introduces key sociological ideas and asks big questions about how society shapes behaviour, identity, culture and institutions. Through contemporary examples and guided discussion, participants explore sociological thinking and begin to see how assumptions can be challenged through the subject.

It is designed for students considering A Levels at Minerva Virtual Academy, as well as anyone who wants to experience one of the academy’s live lessons first-hand. Parents are also welcome to sit in and learn more about the approach.
